Since moving house at the start of the year, many of my paintings have been stacked in piles in the corner of the studio (which was the garage). Not ideal. I was looking for an old painting and it took me ages to go through each pile. I also noticed some of the paintings have been slightly damaged from the stacking. Nothing that can’t be fixed, but completely avoidable.
Chontele came up with a good solution. She ordered some cheap dish racks from Amazon and they hold the small to medium sized paintings perfectly.

Now the paintings can be stored safely, and I can flip through them and pull them out as needed.
It seems obvious, but we didn’t think of it until now! I thought I would share in case you too are becoming overrun with paintings and you’re unsure how to store them.
For the large paintings, we have ordered a drying rack and will see how that goes. I’ll let you know if it works.
Happy painting!
