Hi, I'm Dan Scott

I’m the artist behind Draw Paint Academy, which I run with my wife Chontele. For the last seven years, we have dedicated our lives to helping aspiring artists.

Much of my "painting" time is spent looking for subjects to paint. I make sure to take reference photos whenever I see a potential subject. There are now over 2,400 photos that I turn to whenever I need inspiration.

I'm offering access to this Library to make it as easy as possible for you to paint. The Library will also give you insight into what I think makes for a good subject.

Avoid the Minefield of Copyright Issues

You can use the photos as you please (just don't resell them, of course). Paint them, print them, download them. I don't even mind if you want to sell paintings based on these photos.
